Lost in her thoughts, Lucinda arrived at the underground parking lot of Angle Intl.
Then she took the elevator to the top floor.
Immediately she stepped out, she was greeted by Vivian.
“Miss Simmons, the representative from Eurfrica for trade negotiations is here. He’s waiting for you in the reception.”
She had promised Duke Myers duty-free trade privileges during her time in Eurfrica, and Graham had entrusted her with handling the matter.
“Alright, I got it,” Lucinda replied nonchalantly.
She made her way back to her office to change clothes before heading to the reception.

As she pushed open the door to the reception, her eyes fell upon a man with captivating blue eyes.
“The Duke actually sent you all the way here to be the representative?!” Lucinda exclaimed, a surprised smile on her face.
Zakai’s handsome face lit up as he returned her smile with sincerity.
Extending his right hand, he greeted her in the Cadiered manner, “Hello, Miss Simmons. I’m the representative from Eurfrica. I volunteered to come here to gain practical experience.”
He had been a great help to her during her time in Eurfrica, and she had grown quite fond of this innocent young man.
“Hello to you too. I hope we have a pleasant partnership.” Lucinda extended her right hand, and they both shook hands amiably.
Once they got down to business, Lucinda set aside her personal feelings and engaged in a serious discussion with Zakai about their partnership.
Seated beside them, Vivian diligently took notes of their meeting.
After more than three hours of discussions, Lucinda and Zakai finally reached an agreement on their cooperation plan. In the process, she even sold him the copyrights of some successful movies that he planned to broadcast in his country.
With the additional contract terms settled, it was nearly time to get off work.
Zakai looked at Lucinda, his eyes filled with anticipation.
“Miss Simmons, to celebrate our first partnership, may I invite you to dinner tonight?”
Lucinda pondered for a moment. She had gained a lot from the partnership, and it wouldn’t be fair to turn down his invitation after he had come all this way.
However, her jealous fiance awaited her at home.
After a few minutes of hesitation, Lucinda smiled and said, “Of course. Since it’s your first time here, tonight I’ll treat you to the specialties of our country. But as I’m pregnant, I’ll have the chef prepare lighter dishes, and I won’t be able to drink.”
Zakai beamed with delight.
